Aho! Greetings, once again.
I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate Bobby Chavis and Devonna Mountain on their election to the Council of our Tribe. I am looking forward to the renewed energy, focus and talent each of you will bring to these important positions. I would like to thank Warren Hall and Le’Trisha Lewis for also running for office and by doing so demonstrating your commitment to our future success. I know other opportunities are and will become available for you to serve in other capacities. A big THANK YOU to our election committee. Your work allowed us to have an election that operated perfectly. Thank you to the members of the Meherrin Tribe for once again electing me as your Chief. I pledge to continue to work for the success of our tribe, for ourselves and future generations. I also want to thank you for standing strong in all that is going on with the tribe. The Council and I are exploring many opportunities for our continued growth. When we have cleared some of our current obstacles we want to be ready to start some of these projects.
